Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a Project Management Intern to support the Project Manager and team during development and execution phases of projects. You will gain hands-on experience in engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities.

You will contribute to schedule development, tracking progress, RFI submittals, and monthly financial reporting while learning project management processes and tools in a real-world setting.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
• Assist in developing project schedules and tracking progress.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation under supervision.
• Assist with safety-related documentation and reporting.
• Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
• Support document management including RFI submittals.
• Assist with procurement tasks such as purchase orders and subcontract packages.
• Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
• Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
• Perform other duties to support the project team.

About This Role

The Project Management Intern will support the Project Manager and project team with various tasks throughout the development and execution phases of projects. This internship provides exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities. Interns will gain hands‑on experience in project management processes and tools while contributing to real‑world projects.
