CBRE, a premier real estate services company, seeks a Project Management Consultant in Indianapolis to oversee real estate projects from initiation through closeout with a focus on building management deployment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Construction Management, building management systems and HVAC experience preferred.
  • Travel requirement up to 30% of annual time.

  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and timely coordination of documentation.
  • Direct the project delivery team with guidance to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule; track progress and report status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans; implement actions to reduce risks.
  • Apply standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share knowledge across related disciplines.
  • Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values and build consensus where needed.
  • Impact various customer, operational, project, or service activities within own and related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies; explain difficult information.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Project Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to an assigned market or client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

Focus is on Building Management deployment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from internal teams.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
  • Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of
  • experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Construction Management, building management systems and HVAC experience preferred.
  • Travel requirement is up to 30% of your annual time. Trips will be overnight up to a weeklong. Back-to-back travel weeks are not normal.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Management Consultant position is $90,000 annually [or $43.27 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Project Management Consultant position is $100,000 annually [or $48.08 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
