Job summary

Turner & Townsend invites recent graduates to join its Graduate Development Program in San Jose, CA as a Project Management Analyst. The two‑year program develops core project management capabilities while supporting real estate and infrastructure client work across the U.S.

You will assist with scope, schedule, cost and quality controls; prepare proposals; establish governance; maintain logs; and help produce monthly client reports and dashboards under senior guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring project quality standards and timely completion.
• Manage submittal and RFI processes throughout construction.
• Assist with proposals for new or revised projects.

• Build strong relationships with client and team members.
• Interface with stakeholders including executives, consultants and vendors.
• Attend meetings, update issue/action logs and drive items to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans and support status meetings and close-out activities.
• Contribute monthly reporting and executive dashboards for the client program.
• Support procurement and cost control activities including EVM and cost tracking.
• Liaise with client finance for cost data and SOX control where applicable.

The route to becoming a professional at Turner & Townsend involves development in various competencies. The Turner & Townsend Graduate Development Program has been designed to provide recent graduates, with less than two years of industry experience, with opportunities to further develop their careers and offer exposure to the services in which we specialize in order to become a successful consultant upon graduation of the program.

The Program is intended to take approximately 2 years in duration, and experience is based upon achievement of various competencies in each core service.

The program is offered atour San Jose, CA location.

As a Project Management Analyst, you will play a key role in managing construction and infrastructure projects from concept to completion. You’ll work with clients and teams to control scope, schedule, cost, and quality ensuring successful delivery every time.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to the right quality standards and completed efficiently and on time.

Manage individual tasks throughout the construction process including submittal and RFI processes.

Assist with the preparation of proposals for new projects or variations to existing projects.

Assist with establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project.

Ensure that key information and data are effectively shared and appropriately retained.

Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and team members.

Interface with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, project team members, consultants and vendors.

Assist with the flow of project information between team members / stakeholders.

Attend relevant meetings, update and maintain current issues/actions logs.

Transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure.

Development of detailed project plans, attendance at status meetings and follow-up with team members on completion status, close-out of open items.

Contribute monthly reporting on various aspects of the Client's program.

Preparation of various reports for multiple audiences, including formal project management reports, executive dashboards, and other reporting requirements.

Daily tasks includesubmittal approval management,RFI processing, change order management, meeting coordination, punch-list management, administration of project observation reports, participation in commissioning, and transition of close-out documentation to operations.

Procurement: Assist with the procurement of suppliers / resources as required.

Monitor and assist the Project Manager with applying performance management techniques.

Monitor and report on project costs/spending, maintain project cost tracking & EVM systems.

Liaise with the client’s finance team and others to obtain information, review & report finance/cost data.

SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

The salary range for this full-time role is$70,000-$98,000per year.Ranges aredeterminedby role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair andequitablesalary.This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package.Please note Turner &Townsend reserves the right to pay more or lessthan the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
