Job summary

Futon is seeking an experienced Project and Construction Management professional to provide project management and construction management support for facility projects at Naval Medical Center San Diego. The position will support project execution, contractor coordination, scheduling, documentation, and overall project performance.

Based in San Diego, California, this proposal position is contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and construction management support for facility projects.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate with Government personnel, contractors, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and other project documentation.
• Monitor construction progress and assist with project coordination.
• Identify project risks, deficiencies, delays, and other issues.
• Support project meetings and document action items and decisions.
• Assist with cost, schedule, and scope management.
• Maintain accurate project records and reports.
• Support project closeout activities.
• Assist with ensuring projects are completed in accordance with applicable contract requirements and Government standards.

Minimum Qualifications
