The Role

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

E35 is looking for a PMA4 with prompt, predictable and reliable work attendance. Must have the ability to work well with others throughout the company, as well as outside of the company. The successful candidate should have an extensive background in project/program management, and data analysis utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel. This position needs self-starter with strong attention to detail. Should be willing to coach and mentor to develop capability within the program. Should have the ability to lead internal and external meetings with program team, customers, stakeholders and support organizations.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience; Master’s Degree and 8 year of relevant professional experience

One of the following may be used as equivalent to Bachelor's Degree to meet minimum qualifications:

  • NNS Apprentice School graduate
  • Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
  • Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
  • Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
  • High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
  • High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Nice to Have
  • Strong ability to communicate to all levels of leadership.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to successfully interface with various organizations throughout the company (and various job levels within those organizations).
  • Strong ability to build teams with internal/external customers and within their own organization.
  • Strong MS Excel proficiency as well as MS Power Point.
  • Experience or familiarity with EVM-based cost analysis, labor resource management, operational schedules, and managing operational objectives and tasks.
  • Analyze budget, manning and project plans, provide regular briefings to management on business performance, risks and recommend solutions.
  • Program Office experience preferred.
  • Have an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Six-Sigma certification a plus.
  • PMP certification a plus.
