Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Project Manager to drive manufacturing projects from customer specifications through production handoff. You will work directly with customers to finalize product orders, ensuring clear requirements and timely delivery.

Collaborating with estimators, engineers, and production staff, you will monitor costs, manage changes, and maintain schedules to ensure on-time, quality results. This permanent role is based in Fort Scott, KS with a standard 8am–4pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience coordinating with customers and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Assigning tasks and responsibilities to project team members.
• Defining project requirements and objectives with key stakeholders.
• Collaborating with project personnel and customers to resolve issues.
• Preparing and presenting project status updates for customers and internal teams.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, including schedules and lead times.
• Monitoring project costs throughout production.
• Managing change orders to control scope.
• Coordinating with stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to ensure timely flow of materials.
• Scheduling and leading project meetings.
• Delivering completed outputs to customers per quality standards.

A prominent building products manufacturer is in search of a Project Manager to focus on manufacturing and customer support. As a Project Manager, you will work directly with customers to finalize specifications for product orders. Once all details are confirmed, the Project Manager releases the project to the manufacturing facilities for production. This role requires close collaboration with customers, estimators, engineers, and production staff to ensure successful project execution.
