ALLWEST is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our Inland Northwest team. The role involves leading geotechnical investigations, designing foundations for a mix of public and private projects, and overseeing project delivery from start to finish.

The position offers an office/hybrid setup to balance field and office work. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of geotechnical experience, PE licensure in Idaho and/or Washington within 30 days, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years geotechnical experience.
• Registration as Professional Engineer in Idaho and/or Washington within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations and foundation design for public and private projects.

• Prepare proposals, reports, and technical recommendations.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and field staff.

ALLWEST is a leading consulting firm specializing in engineering, environmental services, and construction materials testing. We’re growing and looking for a Project Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team across multiple locations in the Inland Northwest.

ALLWEST’s geotechnical engineering team tackles a wide variety of challenging projects throughout the Inland Northwest. This position will assist with a diverse blend of public and private projects, ranging in scope and technical complexity. Projects include foundation design for public and private structures, landslide stabilization, and transportation and roadway design. This opportunity provides a balance between applied problem solving, technical analysis, and design.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead geotechnical investigations and foundation design for public and private projects.
• Analyze ground conditions, slope stability, and seismic hazards.
• Prepare proposals, reports, and technical recommendations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering preferred).
• Registration as Professional Engineer in the states of Idaho and/or Washington within 30 days of employment, as well as maintain professional registrations in the state(s) in which they practice.
• 5-10 years of geotechnical experience
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Passion for solving complex engineering challenges

Location
