Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases in North Las Vegas, NV seeks a Program Accountant Financial Analyst to provide accounting services to Project Managers and collaborate with the NCI Project Management Department.

You will monitor project finances, prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, manage contract accounts, and support internal/external audits while driving process improvements and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required.
• 2+ years of POC Accounting or long-term program management experience.
• Strong experience with POC / ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Solid cost accounting and margin analysis knowledge.
• ERP experience with Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Encompix or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Assist with financial closing and monthly reporting/analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze project financials and budgets, including ITC and forecasts.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with milestones and KPIs.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on ongoing projects.
• Manage contract accounts: unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, deposits, liquidated damages.
• Assist with budgeting and quarterly/monthly forecasting.
• Document processes and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Communicate clearly and stay organized.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field
