Job summary

Kaufman Lynn Construction is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to drive project success through scheduling, QC and minimizing warranty calls. The role requires adherence to company policies and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities include creating primary and two‑week look‑ahead schedules, monitoring field performance, supervising subcontractors, ensuring safety, reviewing submittals, and guiding project close‑out while planning staffing and handling scope changes.

Qualifications

• Four-year building construction/engineering degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years on-the-job experience.
• 2+ years of experience leading construction projects as a Superintendent.
• Multifamily, commercial, and/or municipal experience preferred.
• Ability to understand contracts.
• Ability to manage a team, resolve disputes and foresee potential cost or schedule issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
• Familiarity with Procore is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
