A leading recruiting firm is seeking a Project Executive for a growing commercial contractor in Chicago. This role involves overseeing new drywall construction projects, building client relationships, and leading project negotiations. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in drywall project management, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. This position is full-time, with local project management required but no overnight travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing large commercial drywall projects.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee new construction projects from award through closeout.
• Regularly meet clients and visit job sites to maintain relationships.
• Lead negotiations on change orders and project issues.
• Collaborate with APMs/PMs to manage operational workload.
• Ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
