Job summary

Fisk Electric Company in Miami, FL seeks a Project Executive to oversee multiple large projects with direct oversight to project managers. The role interfaces with Estimating during pre-construction, and with owners, A/Es, suppliers, and subs to resolve constructability and value engineering matters.

You will ensure safety, quality, and profitability meet company standards. The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves developing master schedules, budgets, and GMP or Lump Sum contracts

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience working for an electrical subcontractor in a management position.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or similar is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS applications and Bluebeam.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills; advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and construction drawings.

• Manage the development of master project schedule and quality control program
• Identify critical issues and milestones
• Review and approve budgets and scopes with Preconstruction Department
• Identify potential additional cost issues and forecasts accordingly

Description

A Project Executive's primary responsibility is to oversee several large projects with direct oversight to project managers associated with projects. Works closely with Estimating during pre-construction process. In conjunction with the Preconstruction Department, interfaces with owners, A/E's suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve constructability and/or value engineering matters during negotiation and contract execution. Performs all essential functions in accordance to company's values and in alignment with Fisk's policies. Ensure the client's full satisfaction, and at the Company's expected levels of safety, quality and profitability, are obtained. As a Project Executive at Fisk Electric, reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

• Review owner contract and ensure compliance
• Manage the development of master project schedule and quality control program
• Identify critical issues and milestones
• Review and approve budgets and scopes with Preconstruction Department
• Identify potential additional cost issues and forecasts accordingly
• Ensure that safety is properly incorporated into job planning and execution
• Manage the development of a GMP or Lump Sum Contract
• Analyze financial ability of subcontractors to perform
• Conduct weekly and monthly review (study) of job cost reports
• Develop Look-Ahead Schedules
• Oversee company's quality control program on the project

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or similar is preferred
• 7 or more years experience working for an electrical subcontractor in a management position
• Proficiency in computer software and keyboarding necessary, MS applications, and Bluebeam
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skillsAdvanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings, and other construction documents
