Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects.
• Experience with Design-Build and/or EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead DB/EPC projects from pursuit through construction and closeout.
• Oversee Project Managers, Assistant PMs, Construction Managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, estimating, scheduling, and construction activities.
• Integrate multiple disciplines, contractors, and project teams for successful execution.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives on field operations.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, change orders, subcontractor performance, and reporting.

Our client is a specialized provider of integrated solutions for large-scale, complex facilities and advanced technology projects. Their work brings together capabilities across engineering, procurement, construction, civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, power infrastructure, cooling, and other specialty trades to deliver complex projects through a unified approach and clear point of responsibility.

They are seeking an experienced Project Executive in the Houston area to lead major, multi-million-dollar projects from pursuit and initial planning through construction and final project closeout. This is a highly visible leadership position responsible for overall project execution, financial performance, customer relationships, safety, quality, and team success. Candidates should have a proven track record of personally leading large-scale, complex projects and coordinating multiple disciplines, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead DB/EPC projects from pursuit through construction and closeout
• Oversee Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Construction Managers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, estimating, scheduling, and construction activities
• Integrate multiple disciplines, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution
• Oversee field operations and ensure projects meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and key project stakeholders
• Manage RFIs, change orders, subcontractor performance, project reporting, and dispute resolution
• Conduct value engineering and constructability reviews
• Lead procurement activities and oversee subcontractor and supplier scopes
• Prepare and present project progress, budget, and schedule reports
• Support business development and future project opportunities
• Mentor and develop project team members
• Oversee project closeout, warranty administration, and final cost reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 10+ years of construction project management experience
• Proven experience personally leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects
• Experience managing complex Design-Build and/or EPC projects
• Experience coordinating multiple disciplines, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders on a single major project
• Experience with complex facilities, industrial facilities, advanced manufacturing, advanced technology, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or other highly integrated construction environments preferred
• Strong understanding of engineering, estimating, procurement, scheduling, construction, contracts, and project controls
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, contracts, subcontractors, and project financial performance
• Previous leadership experience managing Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of project safety, quality, and environmental practices
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Procore preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% based on project requirements
