Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Project Equipment Manager to plan, schedule and budget the equipment fleet for multiple projects. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and proactive maintenance to maximize availability.

You will handle long- and short-term equipment planning, coordinate between supervision levels, and mentor junior staff. Travel and relocation to project sites are expected as required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of equipment-related experience.
• Willingness to travel and relocate.
• SAP and Microsoft experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD modeling programs preferred.

Position Overview

As a Project Equipment Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling and budgeting for the maximized utilization equipment fleet. In this role, you will deal with both day-to-day and long term fleet related issues focused on improved equipment reliability and preventative maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Management.
• 5+ years of equipment related experience.
• SAP and Microsoft experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on multiple projects at once while prioritizing tasks
• Knowledge of CAD modeling programs is preferred
• Lift 50lbs, access equipment including tower cranes.
• Must be willing to travel and relocate as required
• Strong work ethic - Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments
• Ability to freely access all points of a construction or mining site in wide-ranging climates and environment.
