Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Project Environmental Manager to develop, implement, and monitor environmental conditions on construction sites to ensure compliance with environmental agency regulations and mitigate liabilities. You will train crews and advise management on regulatory interpretations, while documenting and reporting environmental performance to clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, documents, and resolves environmental risks during daily site inspections. Documents findings, evaluations, and inspections using company-approved procedures and software.

• Documents, analyzes, and reports environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.
• Advises construction teams on environmental hazards and procedures to minimize adverse effects.
• Performs impact assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate the project’s environmental risks and financial costs.
