As a Project Engineering Technician for Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE), you will work under the immediate supervision/direction of a registered professional engineer. You will collaborate with site managers and engineers to perform required inspection or sampling services. Our Special Inspections technicians play a critical role in quality assurance for construction projects of any size. They collect concrete, soil, and other site materials for testing and monitor general contractor activities. This includes, but is not limited to, on-site testing and reporting of earthwork and soil construction; foundation/subgrade evaluation; reinforcing steel; concrete placements; masonry; and asphalt testing. They are also responsible for accurately preparing daily reports for submission to the assigned project engineer, which include test results summaries and detailed construction site observations.
