Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a Project Engineer to support the MQ-9A UAV development and retrofit activities in Poway, CA.

You will lead engineering tasks, coordinate with multiple departments, and communicate with customers, sub-contractors, and vendors to meet project goals. You will oversee projects, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with applicable laws while collaborating with the development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in engineering or related field with progressive experience.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Professional Engineering License desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan engineering projects and manage timelines.
• Develop designs and modifications to meet goals.
• Coordinate with safety, flight, software, quality teams to meet requirements.
• Analyze data, test, and document findings.
