Professional Engineering Consultants seeks a Project Engineer to design site development plans, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and support projects from concept through construction. Expect BIM/CAD workflows, hand calculations, and CAD-based analyses.
PE license in the local area is required, with a BS in engineering and at least four years of experience. You will work with project managers and occasionally clients, ensuring designs meet requirements, schedules, and project goals.
Are you someone who can take a set of requirements and turn them into a practical, buildable design—working through site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design with attention to detail. You should understand how decisions impact constructability, cost, and permitting, not just how to complete calculations. If so, we look forward to your application! In this role, you’ll develop site plans, coordinate with other disciplines, and support projects from concept through construction. You’ll work directly with project managers and occasionally clients, helping ensure designs meet requirements, stay on schedule, and align with project goals. A strong candidate brings experience in site development design, familiarity with tools like Civil 3D or similar, and a practical, problem-solving approach to engineering challenges.
