Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Civil Engineer to oversee the planning, design, and execution of a variety of projects in residential, commercial, and infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of designers and associate engineers in the development of land development construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality control.
  • Establish project design criteria while ensuring compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Manage entitlement approvals and the process for obtaining grading and encroachment permits.
  • Manage a variety of land development projects, including:
    • High-density residential developments
    • Shopping centers and retail spaces
    • Auto dealerships and commercial buildings
    • Gas stations and QSR (Quick-Service Restaurant) developments
    • Amusement parks and entertainment venues

Team & Client Management:

  • Foster collaboration and mentorship, ensuring team members meet deadlines and maintain high-quality work.
  • Work directly with clients and stakeholders to define project parameters, address concerns, and deliver successful results.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for agency approvals, permitting processes, and regulatory coordination.

Business Development & Financial Planning:

  • Collaborate with firm principals to create accurate and competitive project proposals.
  • Support business development efforts by cultivating strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and compliance.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • EIT certification preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Experience & Technical Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in land development and civil engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for land development design.
  • Proven expertise in project management, entitlement approvals, and permitting processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal land development regulations.
