Job summary

MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) to join the Public Works team for any Midwest office location. This role emphasizes working with public sector projects across utilities, sewer, roads, water, parks, and more, interfacing directly with local clients.

We are an employee-owned firm with a century-long heritage and a growing multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and hold a PE license with 4+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for any employer; no sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Client relations on municipal projects.
• Design of municipal infrastructure projects.
• Assist with mentoring junior engineering staff.
• Prepare plans, details, specifications, and bidding documents.
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory permits for projects.
• Develop project funding packages with assistance from funding staff.

MSA is hiring a Professional Engineer (PE) on our Public Works team for any Midwest office location. This role is for those who love working primarily with the public sector, with a wide variety of project types.

Public Works engineers may work on projects such as utilities, sanitary sewer, road reconstructions, water/wastewater, parks and trails, and more! As a Project Engineer, this role is anticipated to include technical work and interfacing directly with local clients.

Pay & Benefits*

• Compensation Range: $88,000–$143,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Flex Time: Work 42 hours this week? Have 2 hours added to your Flex Time balance to use as time off in the future
