Caterpillar is seeking a Project Engineer in Houston, TX to lead the development and execution of natural gas power generation projects within the Oil, Gas and Marine organization. You will be the primary interface between the customer's engineering activity and Caterpillar's GCM34 team, owning the process from proposal through commissioning.
The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel up to 40% to customer sites.

This position is part of Caterpillar's Oil, Gas and Marine organization and offers the opportunity to lead the development and execution of G20CM34 natural gas power generation projects across Caterpillar's Oil, Gas & Marine and Electric Power Division. Projects support a wide range of customer applications, including data centers, utilities, large commercial and industrial customers, and oilfield production power. This role provides the opportunity to demonstrate technical acumen while developing projects. This role will have project engineering responsibility and will be the primary interface between the customer's engineering activity and the GCM34 Application Engineering team. The Project Engineer will own this responsibility from customer proposal through project commissioning.
