Job summary

Weeks Marine in Hawaii seeks an Operations Manager/Project Engineer to oversee the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project, lead a team of field and cost engineers, and serve as the main information conduit between the Project/Construction Manager and the team for cost, revenue and cash flow data.

The role requires strong interpersonal and time-management skills; on smaller projects you may act as Project Manager and develop the team below you.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ work experience in construction or engineering.
• 2+ years' experience managing engineers.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

• Perform scheduling of the project.
• Revenue, cost, and cash flow management.
• Temp engineering.
• Permanent design management and quality control.
• Project closeout.
