RJN Group Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join our employee-owned firm. You will complete and oversee a variety of professional assignments in civil engineering for municipal projects including water, wastewater, and transportation.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, at least 3 years of experience, strong communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office. We offer a competitive benefits package, ESOP, and opportunities to serve local communities.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to convey information effectively.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficient with AutoCAD platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and check detail plans, design calculations, cost estimations and recommendations.
• Compile and analyze engineering data and prepare conclusions and recommendations.
• Design and prepare preliminary and final plans for municipal projects.
• Discuss plans, specifications and work schedules with contractors and agencies.
• Participate in studies to determine sufficiency of municipal systems.
• Estimate cost of projects and write contracts and specifications.
• Develop preliminary engineering plans to determine construction feasibility.
• Meet with representatives of private industry and citizens to discuss projects.
• Recommend construction methods suited to soil types.
• Prepare final layout drawings and complete designs of municipal projects.
• Serve as quality assurance engineer reviewing plans, testing or construction.
• Provide engineering design and construction services and field support.
