Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer to support two podium-style multi-family developments in Berkeley, CA. You will collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management and at least 3 years in construction. Proficiency in civil sitework, RFIs, scheduling, budgeting, and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in civil sitework, RFIs, construction management, scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, materials management, safety management, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement construction projects with Civil Sitework expertise.
• Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to identify issues and solutions.
• Prepare and submit RFIs and follow up on responses.
• Manage project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Develop and manage project budgets within parameters.
• Oversee materials procurement and usage for timely delivery.
• Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
• Handle change orders and communicate them to stakeholders clearly.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers for seamless execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety.
