## Project Engineer - Mission CriticalApplyremote type: On-Sitelocations: Chicago: Milwaukee: Kansas City: Sound Bend, IN: Des Moinestime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R-101708**Job Description:**Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team!This individual will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects with a focus on learning Ryan processes, procedures and business policies.**Some things you can expect to do:*** Help generate Requests For Information (RFIs) and track approvals.* Monitor and maintain shop drawing log and shop drawing coordination.* Learn project dimensional control requirements while field verifying dimensions to back check the shop drawing approval process.* Assist in the coordination and tracking of Vendor and Subcontractor deliveries.* Learn Ryan Safety Policies and Procedures.* Gain an understanding for overall site logistics.* Participate in and gain an understanding of the city and jurisdictional permit inspection process.* Keep office and jobsite plans updated with RFIs and ASIs.* Accompany Ryan personnel (and Owner) on Punchlist inspections, record Punchlist items and monitor completion of Punchlist work.* Participate in preparing and updating the project schedule**Job Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field.* 1+ year of experience in commercial construction.* Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects.**You will really stand out if you:*** Have general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.* Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.* Experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore).* Design-build commercial construction experience.**Compensation:**The salary range is $70,000 - $85,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
