Nature of Work

Support and assist the project manager in assuring timely project completion. Duties may include developing schedules, budgets, progress reviews, billings, bids, change orders, submittal lists, and reports. Interface with subcontractors, owners, vendors, and company personnel to coordinate efficient completion of a project.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Create project management & superintendent documentation including schedules, material purchases, cost management, progress charts, labor allegation, etc.
• Coordinate/communicate with owners, vendors, crews, subcontracts, architects, and suppliers to facilitate timely project completion.
• Assist with labor forecasting and project billings.
• Conduct workplace inspections assessing quantity & specification/quality, percent completion by subcontractors, and safety compliance.
• Develop operations and maintenance manuals and as-builts as required.
• Conduct actions in a professional and unbiased manner.
• Comply with all company and site policies and best practice standards.
• Continuously develop proficiency and understanding in the role.
• Maintain a professional appearance and workspace.
• Participate in and comply with all company safety and quality programs and procedures.
• Promote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or office.
• Utilize relevant company technology to support all assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record allowing operation of a company vehicle.
• Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

• May require periods of overnight travel.
• Normal office environment.
• Periods of time walking on construction sites.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent activity: sitting, viewing, and typing on computer screen.
• Occasional activity: standing, walking, bending, reaching above shoulder, climbing, and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
• At times will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor‑lift, scaffolding).
• Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety protocols.
