Job summary

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Washington, DC area team. You will work with both office and field staff to deliver large-scale projects, including renovating existing systems and bringing new buildings to life.

Reporting to Senior Project Managers, you’ll gain increasing responsibility and autonomy while helping ensure project success. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, with a track record of collaboration and drive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong collaboration across office and field teams.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale HVAC/plumbing projects from renovation to design-build.
• Support project execution with subcontracting, procurement, and field coordination.
• Manage scheduling, logistics, and documentation to keep projects on time and within budget.
