Job summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer Internship- Heavy Civil in Lubbock, TX for Summer 2027.

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with possible nighttime operations and part-time options during fall/winter while attending school. Interns will assist in public relations, claims, subcontractor back charges, and force account work, process startup documents, and update CPM under PM direction.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Past construction work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in public relations, claims, subcontractor back charges, and force account work.
• Processing all documents required to start-up project as outlined in project checklist.
• Update and maintain CPM under direction of P.M.
• Monthly schedule distribution to field and subcontractors.
• Schedule survey and inspections for field operations.
• Update and maintain as-Built drawings if required.
• Tracking quantities to ensure accurate payment by Owner.
• Managing change order correspondence and tracking.
