Job summary

Knutson Construction is seeking a Project Engineer Intern to learn hands-on in a real project environment. This paid internship provides exposure to multiple areas of the business and collaboration with experienced professionals.

As an intern, you will assist with day-to-day tasks, conduct research, prepare reports, and support cross-functional teams to help projects progress smoothly. Monday–Friday on-site participation is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a relevant degree program.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic PC tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist department managers and team members with tasks and projects.
• Conduct research and collect data to inform decisions.
• Prepare reports, presentations and documents as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
• Participate in meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling and organizing files.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist department managers and team members with day-to-day tasks and projects.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Knowledge of and proficient in the use of personal computers and related Microsoft software.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to travel to and within project sites.
