Job summary

Silverado Contractors, Inc. offers an internship program for civil engineering and construction management students. Interns work with project teams, attend meetings, and assist project managers with daily tasks during a structured summer schedule.

Duties include field condition evaluation, QA/QC support, and documentation control. Enrolled students gain real-world experience on a variety of project activities and scheduling decisions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Engineering, Construction Management or a related program.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Team-oriented with self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel; familiar with scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings and assist PMs with day-to-day activities.
• Support field teams and project stakeholders such as safety and estimating.
• Assist with field condition evaluation and testing activities.
• Help maintain project documentation and RFIs/contract changes.
• Assist in updating project schedules and tracking quantities.
