The program provides hands-on experience to apply engineering and leadership skills in real-world construction settings. Intern duties vary by education and project status and may include coordination, scheduling support, documentation, procurement, and safety oversight to help develop practical, on-site

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or construction discipline.
Interest in pursuing a career in construction/project management.
Basic understanding of construction principles and processes.

Responsibilities

Assist project team with general contract and subcontract administration.
Exposure to construction scheduling.
Material & Equipment procurement and expediting.
Mechanical, electrical and piping systems coordination.
Shop drawing and submittal review and coordination.
Participation in project coordination meetings and documentation.
Research and suggest options on construction means, methods and equipment.
Maintenance of As-Built plans.
Exposure to quality control in field and shop.
Monitor and document job-site safety and accident prevention.
