Job summary
Frontgrade Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer III to lead a cross-discipline engineering team and drive development of mission-critical hardware, including RF solid-state power amplifiers, RF switches, and related analog/digital products.
You will oversee system integration, manage schedules, mitigate risks, and ensure subsystems work together to meet performance criteria, while coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in a specialized functional discipline; 9 years may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's.
- 3 years of experience may be considered with a Masters.
Responsibilities
- Learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Provide technical leadership, review engineering designs, and ensure compliance with program specifications
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to communicate project priorities, resolve execution challenges, and keep deliverables on track
- Collaborate with program management and multidisciplinary engineering teams to aid in the creation and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule
- Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid schedule delays and cost overruns
- Oversee the system integration of all subsystems including RF, DC, Digital, and Mechanical components
- Ensure all subsystems function together and meet performance criteria
- Communicate with program management on the status of technical progress through each critical milestone from program kickoff to program closeout
- Act as the technical point of contact for all stakeholders to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner and customer expectations are met and/or exceeded

The Project Engineer III will be focused on product development of customized solutions from our extensive portfolio of high-power radio frequency (RF) solid state power amplifiers, transmit/receive high-power RF switches and our analog & digital products.

- OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
