Job summary

EFCO Forming & Shoring Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to prepare visual representations of EFCO products for manufacturing and construction. You will draft and engineer presale and contracted projects, ensuring requirements are met and designs meet quality standards.

The role also covers structural analysis of formwork/shoring and overseeing engineering drafting for pre-sales, with a focus on safety and reliability. It is an onsite position in Des Moines, IA with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
Minimum of 2 years of professional or construction experience required.
FE (EIT) certification preferred.
Proficient with CAD and structural software.
Problem-solving skills and organizational abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

Draft and engineer contracted and presale projects as assigned.
Prepare equipment requirements for projects and collaborate with other key personnel to ensure project requirements are met.
Use technical skills to create designs that meet EFCO's quality standards.
Perform structural analysis of formwork and shoring; compile calculations for Engineering Assurance review.
Manage the engineering and drafting of pre-sales and contracted projects; plan, conduct, supervise assignments and promote a service-oriented approach.
