Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer II open to Gastonia, NC (preferred) or Asheville to support design and coordination of natural gas distribution, transmission, and storage projects.

This entry-level Technologist role focuses on learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks. You will assist in calculations, data analysis, and design document preparation while coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate project documentation and records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or Technologist diploma required.
• 3-7 years related work experience expected.
• Basic knowledge of company policies and procedures for natural gas system design/operations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and related codes and standards.
• Ability to read design drawings, field notes, and surveys.
• Strong math and technical aptitude.
• Proficiency with common software and basic technical writing.

Job Title -Project Engineer II

Locations - Open to Gastonia (preferred) or Ashville

Duration- 12 months



High-Level Description



Provides technical or engineering support in the design and coordination of projects on the natural gas distribution, transmission and/or storage systems, and in the completion of project documentation and technical records. This is the entry level of the Technologist job family. The primary focus of this role is to learn, develop and take on assignments of increasing complexity in order to gain knowledge/experience of the company, technical processes, methods and practices.



Specific Accountabilities



Assists/performs mathematical and analytical calculations, research and design to provide engineering or technical support to designated area.

Gathers, compiles, reviews and analyzes information and data for use in engineering tasks.

Develops and implements process improvements.?

May coordinate and act as a liaison with other departments or outside agencies.

Assists/prepares design drawings and documents, under the direction of supervisor or work leader.

Provides support in coordination of projects.

Creates/maintains reports, system records, and database information.?

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



Required:
