Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking a control systems engineer to lead hardware and software design for security solutions. You will interface with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams while managing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery.

The role requires field presence and travel up to 30%, with strong knowledge of PLCs and HMI software. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 4 years of experience in control system engineering.
• Working knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Omron) and HMI software (Wonderware Intouch).
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software and networking fundamentals.
• Proficient in MS Office and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and software system design on standard projects.
• Create and manage project scheduling and coordination with customers and subcontractors.
• Direct customer, subcontractor, internal resource communications.
• Manage multiple projects with documentation and training as required.
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems and ensure budgets are met.

This position will provide design, development, and installation of electrical control and automation systems for typical solutions in the security industry. The incumbent will lead and be responsible for the delivery of security systems with some guidance from their direct manager within the established targets. Interface and coordinate with the customers, subcontractors, and other internal resources for scheduling. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and prioritizing multiple projects at the same time.?

This position will work closely with Customers, Project Engineers, Subcontractors, Service, Sales, and other Internal Departments.?

• Lead hardware and software system design on standard projects?

• Perform all work in a manner consistent with policies, procedures, and standards?

• Ability to be creative and resourceful in obtaining solutions to uncommon applications?
