Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an engineer to drive program performance within its HPS unit. You will collaborate with world-class engineers to define cost, schedules, milestones, and technology roadmaps while improving engineering quality and productivity.

The role involves hardware setup, testing, and coordinating with vendors and customers. You will travel up to 20% to US sites, work on DCS-related projects, and leverage Experion (C300) and HMI tools to meet project targets and deliver value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in process control automation in industrial environments such as oil & gas refineries, chemical plants, or paper mills.
  • 2+ years of experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
  • Ability to travel up to 20% to local US sites when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Implement standard engineering solutions within budgeted time and cost constraints.
  • Design and issue project documents, set up/configure system hardware, test system functionalities, and interfaces with third-party systems.
  • Communicate with customers and report project status to Project Manager and Lead Engineer.
  • Stay updated on Honeywell hardware/software solutions (Experion C300, Control Builder, HMI).
  • Support estimation development and align with project targets (delivery, quality, costs).
  • Serve as technical interface for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) matters and vendor coordination.

Job description

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell HPS. You will partner with world class engineers and leaders to develop program cost, schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Implements standard engineering solutions to successful completion and within budgeted time and cost constraints
  • Work with Senior Engineers to design and issue project documents, set up and configure system hardware (switches, routers, servers, stations, firewall, etc), test system/network functionalities, implement and test interfaces with 3rd party systems
  • Be able to communicate with customers
  • Know and keep yourself updated on Honeywell hardware and software solutions (Experion technology like C300, Control Builder, HMI)
  • Estimation development and analysis
  • Work with the project team to meet the project targets (delivery, quality and costs)
  • Be a technical interface for matters related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Vendor interface on third-party equipment
  • Report project status updates to Project Manager and Lead Engineer
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • 2+ years of experience in process control automation within industrial environments like oil & gas refineries, chemical plants, or paper mills
  • 2+ years of experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
  • Ability to travel up 20% to local US sites when needed
