Job summary

The Walsh Group - Walsh Construction & Archer Western seeks a Project Engineer for the Transportation division on a Data Center project in Racine, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will support the project team with coordination, document control, procurement, and quality/safety checks while coordinating subcontractors and surveying for accurate layout.

This on-site, full-time role requires 1+ years of experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred, with relocation possible for certain positions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project environments.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.
• Relocation may be required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
