Job summary

Riley Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Madison, WI area. The role focuses on early-stage project management skills, coordinating schedules, costs, and documentation under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Key duties include setting up phase/cost codes, maintaining schedules, gathering change-order information, and assisting in subcontractor bid reviews. Growth opportunities will expand into project estimation and production planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or similar discipline is required.
• Strong mathematical abilities and analytical thinking are essential.

Responsibilities

• Sets up phase and cost codes for new projects.
• Maintains and updates project schedule, as needed.
• Gathers information for change orders and compiles for PM approval.
• Captures meeting minutes, as needed.
• Participates in development of punch list items.
• Prepares Operation & Maintenance manuals for the owner at project close.
• Ensures project documents are current in company software.
• Manages RFIs and project submittals; reviews for accuracy.
