Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for Foundations in Perrysburg, OH. You will start on-site, ensuring crew readiness and handling essential project documentation to set up upcoming days and weeks for success.

You will coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents, applying strong communication and organizational skills to keep projects on track and aligned with client needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering is required or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

As a Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to serve as a key team member supporting all needs to help with a successful project completion. Your day would often start on-site with the crew ensuring they have everything they need for the day. Then you would perform all required documentation and record entry for the project and start to plan for the next days and weeks ahead to set the crew and project up for success. You will work closely and communicate with both Project Managers and Superintendents.

What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering or related and 0-2 years of related experience in Construction, or equivalent combination of both
  • Industrial and Civil Background Preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
  • Travel required; this position requires extensive travel of 70-90%
