Job summary

CSA Group in the United States is seeking personnel to perform product evaluations and report to the Technical Team Lead. The role may involve guiding junior engineers and technicians, coordinating with account managers, and conducting test programs with documentation for consumer products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a laboratory, R&D, or testing role, or in production/fabrication.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment; machine shop experience is a plus.
• Computer knowledge is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Technical Team Lead.
• May provide guidance and training to junior engineers, technicians and temporary staff for projects as required.
• Collaborates with other employees and maintains communication with administrative personnel and account managers.
• Conducts test programs on consumer products and prepares the related documentation, including data collection and writing reports.
• Performs tasks with supervision; may train or supervise others.
• Reviews programs to identify further needs for the customer and communicates with customers and stakeholders as needed.
• Uses and may assemble test setups and equipment; may review applications to ensure work requirements are met.
• May be responsible for a CPE retail client under supervision.

Job Summary

• Reports to Technical Team Lead
• May provide guidance and training to junior engineers, technicians and temporary staff for projects as required
• Collaborates with other employees, ensures communication with administrative personnel and account managers
• To conduct test programs on consumer products and prepare the associated documentation, including collecting data; may have some responsibilities for writing reports.
• Generally, works with some supervision.
• May train or supervise others.
• Reviews programs and identifies further needs to the customer.
• Communicates with customers and other stakeholders as needed.
• Uses and may build certain test set ups and equipment.
• May review application/request to ensure the review of work requirements are met
• May be responsible for a CPE retail client with supervision
• Physical labor anticipated for many programs
• Client contact may be part of the duties
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory, research and development or testing role, or experience in production or fabrication
• Must have knowledge of laboratory equipment; machine shop experience is preferred
• Computer knowledge necessary
