Job summary

Sumco Eco Contracting seeks a Project Engineer to support the Team Lead, Project Managers, Superintendents and Foremen in delivering projects efficiently. The role assists with estimating, cost tracking and administrative tasks while coordinating materials, equipment and subcontractors on site.

Travel is required to project sites in New England; you will read plans, analyze bids and participate in pre-bid meetings, take-offs and bid sheets, and use GPS for surveying and layout to ensure accurate

Qualifications

• Read and understand plans, specifications and permit requirements.
• Take direction from Team Lead or delegate.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and analyze bid documents for scope, schedule and risk.
• Perform take-offs and prepare bid sheets.
• Coordinate material orders, equipment and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
