Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the Seattle, WA area. You will support project coordination, document control, procurement, and safety while working with subcontractors and survey teams.

We value problem solvers who leverage data, plan their work, and build strong relationships. The base pay range is $70,000 to $90,000, with possible bonus and benefits. Location is Seattle area, WA.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project-heavy roles.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous internship, co-op, or employment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims).
• Assist and support project team with daily coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality control and quality assurance checks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and survey/project layout.
• Capture weekly progress photos for reports.
• Manage construction equipment and safety.
• Assist with project estimating.

The annual salary range for this Project Engineer position is $70,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location, consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.)

• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination

• Procurement of construction materials

• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks

• Weekly pictures for progress reports
