Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
• Licensure/Certifications: None required.
• Experience: Zero (0) years of construction or related experience required. Two (2) years of construction or related experience preferred.
• Driving Record: Valid state-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Salary Range: $78,750 to $103,000

This position primarily involves working on-site at the project location or in office. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on the role and project timeline.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The vision for the Project Engineer - Estimating to Traveling role will be to train with the Energy division's Estimating team, with intent to convert to an onsite traveling Project Engineer position.

During the Project Engineer's training period with the Energy division's Estimating team, they will: work closely with the Preconstruction team, Project Managers, Purchasing, Engineering, and report to the Chief Estimator - Energy. The Estimator will be responsible for developing and completing utility scale solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) estimates, including self-perform and subcontracted scopes of work. Estimating includes RFP& drawing package review, developing proposal level designs, quantity take-off, material RFQ prep & evaluation, and subcontractor RFQ prep & evaluation.
