Job summary

Exact Electric in Seattle, WA is seeking a Project Engineer - Electrical Construction to lead technical coordination on complex commercial electrical projects. The role blends office and field work, with local site travel and collaboration with project managers, foremen, vendors, and clients.

You'll review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, manage RFIs and submittals, and support planning, scheduling, and project closeout while upholding NEC and state codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of electrical construction or project support experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Knowledge of NEC, Washington State electrical code, and construction practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Journeyman Electrician license is preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu is preferred.
• Experience with eSUB or similar construction management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Coordinating material procurement and tracking deliveries.

Project Engineer - Electrical Construction

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $46-$58 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 40+ Hours Weekly | Monday-Friday | Flexible Schedule

As we continue to take on larger and more complex projects, we're looking for a Project Engineer who is ready to build technical expertise, collaborate with industry professionals, and develop into a future project leader. This position offers a mix of office and field responsibilities, including local travel to project sites and close collaboration with project managers, foremen, vendors, and customers.
