Job summary

Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for our Kentucky Region with active sites in Lexington, Louisville, or surrounding area. The role focuses on coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a willingness to relocate if needed. This is a hands-on role in a growing, family-owned company with strong regional presence.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project coordination or engineering support.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for engineering roles.
• Internship, co-op, or prior employment in related construction projects is a plus.
• Some roles may require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assist and support project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and work packages.
• Survey and project layout.
• Capture weekly progress photos for reports.
• Manage construction equipment and tools.
• Oversee safety management on site.
• Assist with project estimating activities.
