Air Products is seeking a Project Engineer to join the South Region Customer Engineering team in the Metro Atlanta area. You will lead concurrent cryogenic and industrial gas delivery projects, working with customers, commercial teams, and engineering partners to deliver on schedule and within budget.

You will act as a technical resource throughout lifecycle of installed systems, solving equipment issues and driving reliability improvements while developing practical engineering and project

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years of engineering experience preferred.
• Chemical or Mechanical engineering background preferred.

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our South Region Customer Engineering team in the Metro Atlanta area. This role offers the chance to lead a portfolio of concurrent cryogenic and industrial gas delivery system projects while working directly with customers, commercial teams, and engineering partners, providing broad exposure to the technical and commercial aspects of the business. Beyond project execution, the Project Engineer serves as a trusted technical resource throughout the lifecycle of installed systems supporting operations and maintenance activities, solving equipment and system issues, and helping find opportunities to improve reliability and performance. To facilitate effective onboarding, mentorship, and hands-on development, new hires are expected to work primarily from the office or field. As employees develop proficiency and independence in the role, hybrid work flexibility may become available based on business needs. Travel requirements for this position are typically 10-20% to support technical sales activities, site evaluations, and project execution. Additional travel should be expected during onboarding and training to facilitate hands-on learning and development.
