Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer for our Wisconsin-based general contracting team with offices in Janesville, Madison, and Milwaukee. You will work with Project Managers and Superintendents to support delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering and has 1–4 years in similar roles; familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam is a plus. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in a project engineer or similar construction role.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore or Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination across all construction phases.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation to keep projects moving.
• Support procurement of materials, subcontracts, and equipment.
• Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, and design teams daily.
• Conduct site visits and field observations to monitor progress and quality.
• Contribute to project closeout, punch lists, and owner turnover.
