Job summary

Stocks General Contractors, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support underground utility and civil construction projects. This role emphasizes organization, communication, and accountability across active projects, with travel across the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
• Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between project teams, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Track project schedules, progress, and key milestones.
• Support cost tracking, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on project status.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized project records.
