Job summary

CentroMotion is seeking a Project Engineer located in Urbandale, Iowa, responsible for product design, specification, and support within set time, cost, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure all products meet design standards and regulations.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering and have up to 2 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2 years of relevant experience in the area of Product Design or R&D desired but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Gits products, manufacturing processes and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Develops engineering specifications for components and subassemblies.
• Creates and modifies product designs using CAD tools.
• Verifies designs through engineering calculations and simulations.
• Prepares and supports prototype building activities.
• Documents design artifacts according to development process standards.
