Job summary

DuraServ is seeking a Project Engineer in Santa Fe Springs, CA to provide technical and operational support from award through completion. You will coordinate engineering documentation, submittals, procurement support, and communications with customers, contractors, and vendors.

The role may include CAD/BIM work, design support, and review of drawings to ensure compliance with customer specifications, budgets, and schedules. Occasional travel to project sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years combined experience in engineering, construction, project management, or related fields desirable.
• Experience preparing submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and project documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, contracts, and technical documentation for compliance with requirements.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, engineering documentation, change orders, and records.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, architects, manufacturers, vendors, PMs, and field staff to resolve issues and support execution.
• Review engineering documentation, fabrication details, material requirements, and procurement activities for accuracy and timely delivery.
• Monitor project schedules, approvals, fabrication status, shipping dates, and maintain records.
• Identify engineering issues, evaluate options, and recommend solutions for quality and schedule.
• Provide technical support to installation teams and internal departments to resolve field/product issues.
• Produce CAD drawings and BIM files as needed.
