Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a Project Engineer to join the Project Engineering team, supporting the Filtration Engineering group across the full project lifecycle. You will ensure compliance with GEA standards, customer specifications, and regulations while delivering efficient engineering solutions for beverage, dairy, and edible applications.

You may act as Project Manager on assigned projects, coordinate with logistics, review designs, create GA and utility drawings, and support commissioning and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience preferred (food, dairy, or beverage industries).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of projects from initial customer meetings through cost estimation, proposal development, engineering, commissioning, and start-up.
• Specify equipment and engineering solutions that meet customer requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Prepare technical specifications and participate in design reviews.
• Coordinate equipment shipment to customer sites in collaboration with logistics.
• Support commissioning and start-up activities at customer sites.
• Travel up to 30% with some international travel.
